Do It All

I have only worked three days with the new company I am with, but I can already tell that this company is far better than my last one. This company actually has integrity, and who would have guessed it, a care for the clients, the jobs, and the equipment. I love being a part of a company that tries their hardest to do their best on every job. It was really hard to care about the work, at my last company, when no one else seemed to, and although that is not a valid excuse, this new company allows me to have a more positivte attitude by not being so negative itself. Anyway, to my own chastisment and encouragement (and yours obviously), I thought I would mention a verse that came to mind as I was writing this…

1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

This seems pretty petty following that, but I wrote it first and still wanted to keep it in here, to show a little of what I was feeling, after all I don’t think anybody would read this if I was just being plastic (not real). So anyway, I did realize the need for me to change my attitude, but here it is anyway…

My only gripe so far is the guy I have been working with obviously hasn’t seen my resume or doesn’t understand that I have been hired as lead guy. I think it just makes him feel good to feel like he is teaching people, maybe it makes him feel more complete. Anyway, it doesn’t bug me that much because everything that he has tried to teach, I have already learned or know from experience (I have been doing this 5+ years). I’m not trying to be arrogant, but he is acting like I’m a total newbee to this industry. I have been able to get the idea of how this company works and am ready to start being a lead tech instead of a helper, which has been mainly how he has been using me.

Anyway, enough gripping, he is a nice guy and so is everyone there. It seems like a great company, and the first company (other than THTC, which I had to leave to move to Texas) that I can see myself staying with longterm. Anyway, thank God that He led me here and opened the doors as I really am enjoying it more than I thought I could in this industry. And pray for Him to continually change me to be what He wants me to be.
